Really good course but I'm not okay with the example at , so basically you can get a thousand people who knows hello world and put them in a team does this makes anything better?
You can't combine skills like that. 2 bad coders won't make a good one.
, that argument is flawed. For example, if all your team members are way below average, say at level 1, but you need their skills at level 8 to be successful, so you simply put 8 level 1 people in a team to achieve level 8?
@ - I have a problem with this. Everyone knows two 5's don't make a 10. This bothers me as a Unicorn.
I have a comment! At , the graph shown for the team is somewhat not correct in the sense that the maximum skill level of one team member will determine the skill level of a team, not the sum of skill levels. Hence, Lucy and Otto still only quilify for Business and Graphics. In other words, for every skill level, there should be one person with a level above 8 in the team.
at i think you shouldn't represent the graph like that, but only keep the best of the 2 ... Since they probably both have the same core knowledge in each field and one is better in business and the other in coding ... Imagine a class of 30 6th grade who all have a level 1 in coding, will this class be efficient as a team in the coding field ? Nah of course ...
