At the variables that decrease income are not sex or sexism, but a myriad of factors such as choice of career, biological predisposition toward objects (males) vs people (females), as well as total work time, which is lower overall for women. The gender pay gap has been debunked several times and it astonishes me that someone who teaches statistics does not understand that it is not appropriate to not do a multivariate analysis on this topic. This has been debunked in the 70s.
@ you can also use it for deciding what ad you should show to what person lol or what areas to police, which funny enough end up with a lot of biases in them, and then we code AI models that predict it and then we claim that it's objective.

There's an error at around where the slide says interval has no true zero and ratio does however the narrator says the opposite. I'm faIrly sure that the narration is correct i.e ratio implies no true zero but I just wanted to point that OUT! :)

Don't know what to think about the course. I love her energy and enthusiasm and some things are explained very lucidly, at other times it's a bit to dry for me.
